My Favorite Lasagna

"This is one of my Mom's recipes. I'm very picky about lasagna. I like this one the best because it has cottage cheese in it and isn't as dry as many others. Feel free to add more cheese and/or sauce. I usually just eye-ball it. Also, I love to use the sauce from Recipe #22782. If you make the full amount of the sauce from that recipe, this recipe will use about half. You will not need the ground beef/sausage if your sauce already has meat added."

 1. Loved it! It was so easy and delicious! To the sauce/ground beef combo I added garlic powder and "italian seasoning" because the sauce I used was out of the jar from Aldi's and nothing fancy.

 2. it s a good recipe

 3. This is the best lasagna EVER!! I hate all the lasagnas I have ever tried, especially those at restaurants. You won't be disappointed.

 4. I was looking for a Lasagna recipe that didn't have Ricotta cheese as an ingredient simply because I really don't like it. This recipe had all of the ingredients I usually keep on hand and it was easy to put together. I added an 8oz can of tomato sauce because I just wanted to stretch my sauce a little farther. I baked it at 350' for about 40 minutes, until the cheese on top turned into a nice golden crust. Mmmm, It was delicious. My family gave it a big thumbs up too! I would definately make this again. Thanks for sharing!!

I live here in Utah with my wonderful husband & daughter.

I've been cooking since I was a kid, but really started to get interested in it over the last few years. I'm best at desserts and baking, but like to make just about anything. I especially love to entertain and cook for others. I'm not a picky eater and will try anything once. I'm always making new recipes so it's pretty rare if I make anything twice. These days cooking has me taking on a new challenge to find things that a picky 2 year old will eat and my husband and I will eat as well. It's not always easy but the successes are definitely worth the effort!
