  1. Cut butter into pieces and place in a pan to melt.
  2. Add white sauce mix and blend thoroughly with a whisk.
  3. Add cream and beat until the ingredients are almost boiling, stirring frequently with a whisk.
  4. Simmer for 4 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent scorching.
  5. Turn off heat.
  6. Blend in sifted Parmesan cheese, using whisk to thoroughly incorporate.
  7. Serve over your favorite pasta.
