Fruit
- 3 medium apples, peeled and sliced
- 3 medium pears or 3 medium peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup fresh cranberries or 1 cup frozen cranberries
- 1⁄2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄4 cup apple juice or 1/4 cup orange juice

Topping
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1⁄2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1⁄2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1⁄3 cup butter or 1/3 cup margarine
directions
- Fruit: Combine all of the fruit in a bowl.
- Mix the sugar, flour, and cinnamon.
- Toss with the fruit.
- Place in a 2-quart shallow casserole or an 8" square baking pan.
- Drizzle with apple or orange juice.
- Topping: Combine the oats, flour, sugar, cinnamon and allspice.
- Cut in the butter until the mixture is crumbly.
- Spoon over the fruit mixture.
- Bake at 375 degrees F for 40-45 minutes or until the fruit is tender.
- Serve warm.

<p>I live with my husband, four cats, and a sweet mutt named Jada in Scarborough, Ontario, where I work as an elementary school administrative assistant. I have a 31 year old daughter who lives with her boyfriend in nearby Don Mills, along with my sweet granddogs, Frankie and Turbo.
