ingredients

6 tablespoons soft margarine
10 ounces condensed tomato soup
1 ¹⁄₂ cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
¹⁄₄ teaspoon allspice, ground
³⁄₄ cup raisins

directions

Preheat oven to 350F, lightly grease a 9x9 square pan.
Measure all ingredients (*except raisins) into a large mixing bowl and beat on low speed till flour is moistened, then beat on medium speed till batter is smooth-scrape down sides of bowl when needed-fold in raisins.
Pour batter into pan and bake 35min's. Cool on wire rake and spread with cream cheese icing!

Why "SoupCookie"? My cousin Ryan use to come to my house after school sometimes and was *always* hungry! So he used to make his version of chocolate chip cookies and I can't remember what he did or didn't do right but the cookies never failed to come out flat and doughy and gooey. We'd put them in a bowl with milk and eat it with a spoon.....sooooo good!
