My Homemade Tartar Sauce
"My husband challenged me to make my own version of tartar sauce. This is the result of his challenge. ;o) The seasoning amounts in the recipe are estimated because I don't measure anything. I think it's especially good with broiled Tilapia. Enjoy!"

ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1⁄2 cup chopped sweet onion
- 2 tablespoons dill pickle relish
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- 1 fresh garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon capers, chopped
directions
- In a small bowl, combine all ingredients.
- It is best to make this about an hour before you plan to serve it so the flavors can blend.
- Please note that we like a lot of onion in our tartar sauce so if you don't, you may want to adjust the amount used.
