  • 1 lb green beans, cooked (approximately)
  • 1 lb wax bean, cooked (approximately)
  • 116 ounces beans (mixed, kidney, chick peas)
  • 2 medium onions
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 red pepper
  • Dressing

  • 12 cup vinegar
  • 14 cup brown sugar
  • 12 cup salad oil

directions

  • Shake dressing ingrediengts very well and pour over vegetables. Store in refrigerator and stir occasionally.

  1. I omitted the green pepper and used only red. Used white balsamic vinegar as there was none specified. I think a dash of Italian seasoning would work in this and adding fresh parsley from our garden boosted color. Used half garbanzo/half dark red kidney beans and fresh green beans, too! I like the brown sugar in the marinade. Reviewed for Best of 2010.

My favourite thing of all is camping in scenic, remote areas. I like guy movies and the occasional chick flick, historical novels and good music - rock, pop, blues, some country, a little jazz. Am not the best cook in the world but so far have managed to avoid poisoning anyone. My biggest pet peeve is control freaks. They can control someone else.
