My Pecan Pie

ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 12 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup Dark Karo syrup or 1 cup light Karo syrup
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 23 cup pecans
  • 1 unbaked pie shell (do not use a deep pie crust)

directions

  • beat eggs well.
  • mix sugar, starch and salt.
  • add beaten eggs.
  • stir in syrup.
  • stir in pecans.
  • pour into unbaked pie shell.
  • bake at 350 degrees for approximately 40 minutes.
  • pie will be soupy when hot but will congeal as it cools.
