Hello Fellow Recipe Junkies, I just love checking out everyone’s profile so I thought I would share a bit about me, just in case you are like me and enjoy it also. I am a housewife living in Texas. 4 years ago I quite working in a semi cooperate world. I have been married for 23 years to my high school sweetheart. I guess that would make him my adult sweetheart too :) http://www.recipezaar.com/members/home/498829/DSCN0838.JPG One day I was walking by the window and noticed my puppy setting in my flower pot. I can't believe I caught him with my camera to have a picture of him setting in it to share. I have no idea why he did it, just know I loved it, it was so funny!!! He has put a lot of joy in my life! I am going to start canning and freeze food this year. I want to have meals ready for those nights you just don't want to cook and yet don't want to go out... At my home that could be several nights in a row. I wanted to find an easy way to plan a menu. Although I enjoy to cook, I have a problem with formulating a menu every two weeks to a month. I had mentioned that I found Life as Mom blog with Meal Planning the 1950's way. Will I thought I would share with you the formula I came up after finding this wonderful tool. This is based on my family likes and eating habits. Just A Gal’s... Menu Guide Line Sunday Meat (such as Pot Roast), Potatoes, Vegetables, Rolls Monday Sandwiches or Leftover night, Carrot and Celery Sticks Tuesday Chicken with Salad, Rolls Wednesday Casserole (such as Mac and Cheese or Lasagna), Salad Thursday Hamburgers, Fries or Potato Salad, Carrot Sticks Friday Italian, Homemade Pizza, Green Salad Saturday Bar B Que or Mexican, Green Salad, I will try and list my upcoming menus here: As far as how I rate a recipe... if my family loves it and it is easy to follow, it is a great recipe... anything other than that is factored into my rating for each recipe.
