  1. I was more than pleased with the results and it was a hit at Thanksgiving. I don't know if I will ever make a regular pecan pie again. Delicious and not terribly sweet as many pecan pies can be. Easy to make, too

  2. Made this pie for Thanksgiving this year and my Nana asked me for the recipe! The greatest compliment ever!

  3. Fabulous, this is great for my nonpumpkin pie eaters. They want it again at Christmas. Easy to assemble.

  4. I have been making this pie for the holidays for over 40 years. I got it from Pillsbury's 16th Grand National Bake-off Recipes. Everyone in my family loves it, I often get requests for this pie, when they know I'm going somewhere else for dinner.

  5. I got this same recipe from The Pies and Pastries Cookbook. I have made this pie every Thanksgiving for about 10 years. It is the ultimate pecan pie. It is better than a regular pecan pie because it is not as overwhelmingly sweet.

I live in the mountians of maine. I am a domestic engineer. I love listening to music, crocheting, cooking, gardening, reading, My favorite cookbook is one of those that different groups or orgs put out. Gardening is one of my greatest passions, If i had a month off to do what ever, i would rent a cabin on the shore of some lake, bring lots of eats, books and music, and do nothing. Get up when i wanted, go to bed when i wanted. Now theres a vacation for ya.
