  1. This was good weeknight meal. I followed the recipe as written other then I didn't add the tortilla chips to the top. Everyone enjoyed this but my family thought it could have used more spice. They added hot sauce to their servings.

  2. Great Recipe. Friends love it as well as us.

  3. I made this exactly as written, minus the tortillas chips, as I have a huge distaste for sogging chips. LOL! Husband loved it, as did I. I made a double batch so that it would last more than one meal. I thought it was a fairly expensive meal given that it's not a gourmet meal. It cost me $18 and I already had the salsa at home. That breaks down into roughly $2 per serving, so I guess it isn't that bad. Thank you for posting!

  4. This is really good and my hubby loved it! I will be making it again! By the way, we have the same name spelled differently -- mine is Amy Perrott!

  5. This is great comfort food! Who would of thought mac and cheese and mexi could be so good together! The recipe is awesome as is, but I use velveeta cheese, cut in cubes instead of shredded cheddar for creamier. I too add for a side, chopped lettuce, chopped tomatoes, chopped green onions, additional salsa and sour cream. Kids love this. I was just about to post this recipe, but found that it was already here. I make this once a month and wanted to post this just in case Kraft takes the recipe off the box. Thanks so much for posting Amie!
