Natalie's Chocolate Chip Cookies (Easy and Good)

"This was actually taken straight from the BLUE BONNET margerine tub. My daughter is 9 and wanted to try it. She did well, I merely set the oven and let her have at this. SHE did well! Basic recipe Im sure. Easy."

  • Preheat oven for 350 degrees.
  • Mix all ingredients well (She used a hand mixer).
  • Spoon out on ungreased baking sheet 1-2 inches apart.
  • Bake 15 minutes or until edges begin to brown and cookie "looks" done.

  1. Good basic recipe. Added a dash of salt, otherwise made as stated. Sieved flour and baking soda (as I always do) before adding to the other ingredients. The dough is very stiff and I found it easier to roll the cookies by hand instead of using a spoon. This made 25 rather large cookies which baked in exactly 15 minutes. The cookies are crisp on the edges and semi-soft in the middle. For the non-Americans; 3/4 cup butter/margarine weighed 120 grams on my kitchen-scale. Thanks for posting.

I am a wife, a mother and a pretty darn good friend, (If you ask me) lol. My children are my life, my husband really is a great guy. I am a hermit lol. I enjoy being in my home more or less. Typical Cancer right? I have just begun to really indulge in the whole cooking thing. I am starting to enjoy making and testing new recipes. Mabe this comes with age, well it did for me anyway! I am definately a beginner, no chef extroidinaire...spell that wrong? Oh well.
