My family has had a tradition of Navy bean soup, since I can remember for the day before a major cooking holiday. I chose this one, and it turned out great. I couldn't ask for anything better. This beats half the population that go to McDonalds on that day. The only thing I had to do was add some sausage , because I only had 1 ham hock.

I love to cook. Since I quit smoking I have gained weight thus I am into low-fat recipes. The most important thing that I have learned is that if it is low-fat and has no taste why would you eat it. My goal is to have a cookbook filled with wonderful tasting recipes which are low-fat.
