  1. Place all the ingredients in a large pan. Boil uncovered for 1 1/2 -2 hours (or until mixture has thickened slightly - stir every 20-30 minutes to stop the bottom burning.
  2. Pour into hot sterilised jars and seal while hot.
  3. Keep for 6-10 months in a dark cupboard. Once opened, keep in the fridge.
