ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white Karo
- 1 cup water
- salt
- 1 teaspoon maple flavoring
- 1⁄2 teaspoon butter flavoring
directions
- stir together sugars karo syrup and water and salt in a saucepan
- slowly bring to a boil
- stirring constantly
- let boil 5 minutes
- add maple flavoring to taste
- add butter flavoring.

This is an excellent recipe! I have it and have made this syrup many times. If you do not have butter flavoring, you may use butter.
