  1. I prepared this a little differently. I had already cooked some ham hocks in the crockpot and had the cut up meat in the freezer. I also had some of the stock on hand. So I used some of the ham hock meat along with the stock, adding about a cup of water. I have a small pressure cooker, so I reduced this recipe to fit my pressure cooker, eyeballing the amounts. I started with the instructions from step 5, including all the incredients and cooking as instructed. Wow, delicious cold weather, one pot meal, YUMMY! Since I had already cooked the meat, it was so quick and easy! I used red potatoes, not peeled. Next time I think I would prefer them peeled. I also sliced the onions (before I read the instructions, DUH!) They got lost in the other foods, so halving them is definitely the way to go! Thanks DiB's!
