  • Fry bacon until crisp.
  • Remove bacon from pan.
  • Add 1/2 cup of liquid from canned clams to pan.
  • Add 1 1/2 cups water, potatoes and onion to pan.
  • Cover and cook until potatoes are tender, 15-20 minutes.
  • Add clams and 2 3/4 cups of milk.
  • Blend remaining milk and flour/corn starch and add to pan.
  • Cook and stir until boiling.
  • Add salt, a dash of pepper and bacon.
