- Fry bacon until crisp.
- Remove bacon from pan.
- Add 1/2 cup of liquid from canned clams to pan.
- Add 1 1/2 cups water, potatoes and onion to pan.
- Cover and cook until potatoes are tender, 15-20 minutes.
- Add clams and 2 3/4 cups of milk.
- Blend remaining milk and flour/corn starch and add to pan.
- Cook and stir until boiling.
- Add salt, a dash of pepper and bacon.
