“It sounds like a lot of work, but really, it's not. Too many ingredients you might say?..........It's worth it. I came up with this recepie last night. It's our first time eating New York steak and basically had no idea what to do with it. Got a hold of a couple of large plastic ziplocks and started adding ingredients.........it's so tender, flavorful and juicy.....really proud of this one........deliciossso!!!”

Directions

  1. In two large ziplocks add the same amount of ingredients for the Ayon's marinade, starting with the lemon oil, blood orange oil and roma style vinegar.
  2. Add juice of the lemon and orange.
  3. Add the terragon, black pepper, salt, kosher salt, coriander seeds, bay leaves, and dried chiles.
  4. In each large plastic ziplock bag add 3 New York steaks, previously criss-cross cut, remove excessive air and close bag tightly, letting it marinade in the refrigerator from 30 minutes to an hour.
  5. On top of stove grill add 3 tablespoons of olive oil, grilling steaks 3 minutes on each side, set aside.
  6. In preheated 350 degree oven, place New York steaks, drained from Ayon's marinade, on baking dish.
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  9. Remove from oven and let sit 10 minutes before serving.
