Nita's Chocolate Cake

"This recipe was handed down to me by my wonderful mother in law. This is the only cake that is requested for birthdays. Even the neighborhood kids ask me to make this cake for them. This cake is well worth the effort. This cake also is served out of the pan that it is cooked in."

  1. Wonderful sheet-type cake! The buttermilk and cinnamon give it a very nice taste. I melted the icing ingredients over the stove, just like the cake ingredients. I like the way the icing soaks into the cake. Made this for Pick a Chef '08. Thanks for sharing!
