  • Bring milk, butter and sugar to boil over medium heat.
  • Add pudding and blend with beaters until smooth.
  • Stir in rolled oats.
  • Drop by spoon onto waxed paper.
  • Cool until firm.
  • Store in an air tight container.

  1. These were good! I added a handful of mini-marshmallows to the milk and butter mixture, used coconut cream pudding mix, and added 1 cup of raisins to turn them into no bake oatmeal raisin cookies.
     
  2. I made this recipe I used peppermint pudding and a little peanut butter. It was really good. I've been looking for different no bake flavor cookies and I'm really glad I did. I added 4 cups of oats unsteady of 3. Thank you for the recipe, it was a hit.
     
  3. I used pumpkin spice pudding (bought a bunch cheap after the holidays) and 1 cup of brown sugar--could've used even less sugar. I flattened these to about 1/4" and shaped into football shapes by hand for a superbowl party. As others have said, they were a little gooey and didn't get really firm--I debated using more than the 3 cups oats--probably will next time. Great taste and super easy. Will be even easier next time as I will just use my small Pampered Chef scoop to drop them on the paper.
     
  4. These cookies are tasty, and I always use butterscotch pudding mix (gives a great caramel flavor). These are also a great gluten-free alternative. I LOVE sugar, but even I agree that these are a little too sweet.
     
  5. We all loved these: 10, 19, 60, & 64 yr old. They were easy to make. My 10 yr old grand daughter actually made them. We boiled the sugar mixture for 2 minute. We used butterscotch pudding....great flavor with the oats, and added 1 cup of walnuts. The only thing I had to alter was the amount of Oatmeal. I used quick cooking oats and had to use 5 to 5 1/2 cups of oats. They set up great and within 1/2 an hour they were ready to eat. The only thing I did was whisk in the pudding ( little kid and hot sugar mixture don't go together in my kitchen.) She did all the rest by herself. So it was a great cooking session with grandma. Thanks for a good time with the grand kids and the great cookies. I'm not in a big baking mood this year so this was a perfect recipe for us this Christmas.
