- Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl and stir to mix.
- Add water and stir to make a batter.
- Cover with plastic wrap and leave to rise, 4 to 18 hours.
- Preheat oven to 450 F with a dutch oven or heavy casserole dish in the oven. Allow at least 15 minutes for the bakeware to heat up. Lid must be preheating as well.
- Dump the batter into the bakeware, put the lid on, and bake 30 minutes.
- Take the lid off and bake 15 minutes.
- Dump onto a cutting board. If your bakeware was preheated it should not stick.
- Eat.
