  1. Splenda and diet Sprite are so terrible for you! This is not a healthy recipe. Please educate yourself about the dangers of artificial sweeteners.

  2. Good and different pie crust idea...I am not a big pie crust fan normally (tend to eat filling only on the rare occasions I eat pie), but I like to make them for my pie loving husband...I wanted this recipe for Thanksgiving '08 to go with recipe#127337 as filling- we really never have soda on hand so I sent my husband out for a can of diet sprite at the deli and he came back with a regular {{yuck}} I had 2 choices use the regular sprite or the one other can of soda I found in the pantry...a diet vanilla cherry coke...I went with the latter because I wanted a no-sugar soda and the result was a slightly odd pink colored crust but I like pink so cool by me...will definitely do this again with a diet sprite because it is so easy and also want to try it alone or with a very simple filling...tagged for the "Healthy Choices Tag Game" - thanks for an interesting new idea :)
