  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add salt, almond extract, flour, and nuts.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Chill dough until firm enough to handle.
  5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  6. Shape dough into 1 inch balls.
  7. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until light brown.
  9. While cookies are still warm, roll in powdered sugar.
