  • Beat together the nutella, sugar, heavy cream, milk and vodka until blended evenly. Churn into ice cream according to your ice cream machine’s directions, and then freeze for four hours before serving. The ice cream lasts about a week in the freezer.
  • Makes about 2 cups.

  1. I made this as written and it turned out wonderfully. Both the texture and flavor were spot on. I wasn't sure whether it would really need to sit in my freezer for four hours after churning, but it really did need that time to firm up a bit. This was the first time I had ever used my ice cream maker to make something other than frozen yogurt and it was a success. The small yield was perfect for me because I didn't want any leftovers; however, if you are looking for four or more servings, I would consider doubling that batch. Doubling it will allow it to fit into most ice cream makers. Thanks for posting!
