  1. warm milk either in microwave or on stove top.
  2. combine eggs, salt, and sugar.
  3. add milk slowly stirring constantly.
  4. add vanilla.
  5. pour into heavy pyrex casserole dish (square deep ones work best) or custard cups.
  6. sprinkle with nutmeg & cinnamon.
  7. place in a cake pan 1/4 the way filled with water.
  8. bake at 350 for an hour or till knife comes out clean.
