Nutty and Sweet Broccoli Salad

"I found this recipe in the cookbook Gardening and Cooking with Diane. If you are a vegetarian you could leave out the bacon or substitute with artificial bacon bits."

  1. I also dislike it when people change recipes and then feel the nerve to rate it. BUT, I was looking for the perfect Broccoli Salad to meet our desires. So I had to combine this with a couple of others, one of them being #173727 from here. This recipe calls for "1 bunch broccoli florets", more specifically, I use 1 1/2 lbs. I use 1 cup of dried cranberries rather then the 1/2 cup of raisins. 1/2 to 1 cup sunflower seeds, sometimes baco bits rather then bacon (added at the end). 1/2 cup mayo rather then 1 cup. 1/4 cup plain yogurt. This is a much healthier version and way more tasty then the other that doesn't call for the bacon or onion. Thanks, and I hope you don't mind me tweaking
