  • 1 tablespoon butter, no substitutes
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 cup sliced almonds
  • 12 cup dry roasted salted peanut
  • 12 cup pecan halves
  • 12 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons shortening

Directions

  1. I a 1 quart microwave-safe dish, combine the caramels, butter and milk.
  2. microwave, uncovered. on high for 2 minutes, stirring once.
  3. stir in peanuts and pecans.
  4. drop by tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper-lined baking sheets.
  5. in a micriwave -safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and shortening.
  6. stir until blended.
  7. drizzle over clusters.
  8. chill until firm.
  9. store in refrigerator.
