  1. This was delicious and easy but very sugary for our taste. I will definitely make it again but will reduce the sugar to about 2/3 the amount called for. Was very yummy just out of the oven with some fresh whipping cream on top!

  2. I loved this recipe! I did add 1 tsp of vanilla to the filling and it turned out wonderful!!

  3. nutmeg is bit much at 1/2 tsp...

I am a wife and mother of an infant son and a crazy 2 year old. I love my life in general. I feel very lucky to have the life I have. I learned how to cook helping my mother and grandmothers in the kitchen it was something I will always remember fondly about my childhood and something I will be doing with my children! Although my experimenting didn't start until I was in college living with 2 very good cooks (believe it or not they were both men). With very little money we had to figure out how to feed ourselves with what we could bum off our parents. <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/permanent%20collection/adoptedspring08.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket">
