Directions

  1. In large bowl, pour water over oatmeal.
  2. Let stand 20 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, mix butter, sugars, eggs, Add flour, cinnamon, salt, soda and vanilla.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Mix and add oatmeal.
  6. Do not add more water.
  7. Bake in greased and floured 13 x 9 inch pan at 325* for 25-30 minutes .
  8. When done, let cool in oven.
  9. Mix all topping ingredients.
  10. Pour over top of cake, let bubble in warm oven.
  11. Watch close so it doesn't burn.
