2 lbs shortening
8 lbs brown sugar
2 ounces vanilla
16 eggs
6 lbs pastry flour
3 ¹⁄₂ ounces baking powder
2 ounces baking soda
1 ¹⁄₄ ounces salt
16 ounces milk
5 lbs rolled oats
4 lbs craisins

directions

Soften butter, in mixing bowl cream smooth 1-4 [not fluffy], gradually add tempered eggs, then add sifted 6-9, then add 10-12 until uniform texture and color, do not over mix.
