  1. Sift together into a bowl the flour, baking powder and sugar. Add the oats, cream, butter, vanilla and corn syrup. Mix until well blended.
  2. Drop rounded 1/4 teaspoons of batter onto parchment lined baking sheets allowing 4 inches between them.
  3. Bake in a preheated 375*F oven for about 4-6 minutes (check after 4 minutes), until lightly browned. Let stand 30 seconds before removing from pan.
  4. If cookies become too hard to remove, return to oven briefly to soften--just for a few seconds.
  5. Cookies freeze well. Makes about 4 dozen.
