  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • In large wisk together applesauce, brown sugar, white sugar, salt, raisins, vanilla, cinnamon, milk, and water.
  • Mix (with fork or spoon) and fold in whole wheat flour and quick oats.
  • Put mixture into a sprayed 9x9 pan.
  • Right before putting into the oven, pour the syrup over the mixture and gently spread evenly with a spatula, so the maple flavor will bake in!
  • Put in the oven and bake for approximately 35 minutes.
  • Cut into 9 squares.
