  1. This recipe was really good and easy to make. My husband is a big fan of oatmeal raisin cookies and he liked this just as much! I wanted a crust ,so, I added a graham crust to it. I will definitely make this one again!

  2. We used a graham cracker crust and subbed craisins for the raisins, but this was SO good. So so so so good. But very rich. I'm a big oatmeal raisin cookie fan so this was right up my alley!

  3. i tried subsituting the raisins w chocolate chips but probably shoulda only used 1/3c instead of 3/4 cuz it was a bit too much chocolate. It was still really good though just very chocolaty.

  4. Super easy recipe, even my 3 year old helped! Super yummy recipe. Very rich. We used dried cranberries instead of raisins and that was awesome.

  5. My husband is the oatmeal raisin cookie monster of Texas and he was over the moon! I think when I make it again (and I most definitely will) I will make a crust and bake it like you would a pecan pie. Even though the directions did not state to do so, I lightly coated the pie plate with cooking spray. It still stuck (suspect the corn syrup was the culprit) and was very difficult to get out without falling apart. Did anyone else have this problem? If it hadn't stuck, it would have been 5 stars.

Tweaks

  1. Graham cracker crust makes this special. I also made an Oreo Pie using bulk Oreo crumbs and a little less than 3/4 cup and using vanilla instead of cinnamon. Very easy- sweet recipe, no pun intended.
