Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F
  2. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl add butter and sugar and beat until smooth.
  4. Add the applesauce, molasses, egg and vanilla.
  5. Add the applesauce mixture to the flour mixture and mix well.
  6. Then add the oats and raisins.
  7. Drop a tablespoon of dough onto baking sheet about two inches apart.
  8. Bake until slightly golden, about 12 minutes.
  9. Cool for about 5 minutes.
