ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1 cup peanut butter (crunchy or smooth, either one)
- 1 cup peanuts (I use salted and I don't chop them up at all)
- 3 cups Rice Krispies
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
directions
- Combine sugar and corn syrup in a large microwavable bowl. Cook in microwave for two minutes.
- Add peanut butter and peanuts and cook one more minute.
- Stir in cereal to completely combine.
- Press into a greased 9x13.
- In a small microwave-safe bowl, layer chocolate chips and butterscotch chips and melt until creamy and smooth. Spread evenly over peanut butter/cereal layer. Chill in the fridge for 10 minutes. Cut into 1 1/2 inch squares.
