“I found this recipe on Total - Health - Yoga - and more. This recipe is very nutritious with the addition of apples and raisins. I substituted 2 cups soy milk and 6 cups water for the 8 cups of water. This does make quite a bit. I usually make enough to last me for several days. I refrigerate the left over in separate bowls and reheat as needed. I have also made this on the stove top.”

  1. Add the first 7 ingredients (oats to raisins) in a crock pot. Stir. Set the pot on low and go to sleep. Top with 1 cup sliced bananas and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts if desired.
  2. This can also be cooked on the stove top.
