1. This was a good recipe with limited ingredients which made it very easy to make, and I use my iron skillet for baking many recipes,so I was right at home making this recipe. Thanks for a good recipe. Darlene Summers

 4. This is not a sweet cakey type cornbread that seems to be going around. BUT, this is a good simple recipe. Like Irish Rose, I do prefer sugar in my cornbread so I added about 1 1/2 tablespoons and roughly about 3/4 to 1 cup of milk. It's a not too dense cornbread that is very good. thanks!

 5. Your cornbread recipe was one of three that I chose for Pick A Chef. I served it with your pasta e fagioli for company. I also cook my cornbread in an iron skillet. We are use to a sweeter cornbread, so this was very nice for a change. I liked the addition of the bacon drippings added to the batter. Thanks for submitting this and giving me a chance to try it.

Hi! I love in Central California. I work with computers all day long. My favorite thing to do it to cook when I get home. I could not possibly tell you my favorite cookbook................because I can't count the books I own, you might call it a hobby, or a passion....my Husband calls it a vice!

I love to rubber stamp, anything!

If I had a month off, I would pickup my bags head to the beach and read. When I was tired reading, I would cook! At the beach, in my trailer!

PS.....I just love the photo of me.....now, if you think I still look that way...........well lets just say, vision gray hair....
