Old Fashioned Bread Pudding

"I recently found an old handwritten cookbook of my late grandmother's. This is one of the recipes I've made from it. I had not really ever tried bread pudding but I really liked it. I've made it as the recipe states and also with a sweet bread I had on hand. I like it best served warm but it is good cold as well."
