  1. This was a hit tonight! I went ahead and heated the water to around 115 degrees and added the yeast to it because I wasn't sure if the bread would rise without heating the water. These are terrific. Thank you for posting this Celestial Star!

  2. These are amazingly delicious. I had no problem with the consistency of the dough and got 16 beautiful, delicious bread sticks. Will make again and again!

  3. This recipe tasted great and reheats well. When making the dough, I found it very watery, so add the water bit by bit and stop when it seems the right consistency. I ended up adding a lot more flour and still couldn't roll it into breadstick shape so they came out as rolls! The taste and texture were lovely though- thanks very much! This goes very well with Alfredo sauce recipe 222438!

  4. Easy and fast. Came out yummy. I drizzled a little olive oil, Kosher salt, and minced garlic on top. Made 10 and saved the rest of the dough in the fridge or a few hours, for a pizza for my husband when he got home. Worked great for that, too!

  5. Taste was great. My son said it was the best bread I ever made. Didn't turn out quite right though. I should have used two pans to let the bread rise as the sticks all kind of ran together.. Next time I will make the sticks longer and skinnier. Also, when I "lightly" brushed the first butter on them, they all went flat! Next time I will try it without doing the first time of butter. I sprinkled garlic salt and powder on them, too.
