These really were nice and tender biscuits. I made these to have as a snack with raspberry preserves and it was delicious. I was trying to see if I taste the cream cheese in this but I really don't. They are quite delicious though. I think I will make these particularly for sweet spreads and not really for savoury. But that's just my preference. Thanks!

These biscuits came together quickly and easily, but somehow they just didnt meet my expectations. They tasted rather bland and floury (maybe a tbs of sugar would have helped that). Also they didnt quite bake through fully, even though I left them in the oven a little longer than stated. I think this recipe is a great basis for experimenting and with some slight changes it could become a real winner. Im sorry to give you such a low rating, but as is this just didnt make me happy. Made and reviewed for PRMR Novembre 09.
