Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients except parmesan cheese in a large pot over medium heat. You may need to break up the noodles for them to fit in flat.
  2. Bring to a boil; cover and simmer for 20 minutes, or until noodles are tender.
  3. If mixture is too thick, add more half-and-half to get the desired consistency.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in parmesan cheese.
  5. Sprinkle with parsley and bacon bits, if desired.
