Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Place chunks of bread in a greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish.
  3. Saute sliced onions in butter until soft.
  4. Pour onion/butter mixture over bread chunks.
  5. S& P.
  6. Beat eggs and milk then pour over bread/onions.
  7. Press bread down a bit.
  8. Sprinkle w/ cheese.
  9. Bake 45 minutes.
