  1. Pour corn syrup, sugar and salt into a large saucepan.
  2. Stir over medium high heat until sugar dissolves and mixture begins to boil.
  3. Stir in peanut butter.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in oatmeal, cornflakes and crisp rice cereal.
  5. Pour into greased 8-inch square pan and set aside.
  6. Melt chocolate chips in small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly.
  7. Spread over bars.
  8. Cut into 32 squares or triangles.
  9. OPTION: Melt peanut butter chips in small saucepan over low heat.
  10. Using small spoon, dot onto bars in any design you prefer.
