Orange Breakfast Dream

"Whip up this frothy cooler in minutes, it tastes like an old-fashioned Creamsicle. For best results, start with ice-cold soy milk and use freshly squeezed orange juice. Creamy, custard-like silken tofu adds extra body. For additional calcium, use calcium-fortified orange juice. Points 2."

  1. This was very good, and the BF and I had it for a quick/late breakfast shake. We omitted the ice cubes, because we both cannot stand them, and it made for a very creamy mix. It reminds me of a drink that I get at the Nordstrom E-bar, but i'm sure was much better for me with the added silken tofu. Thanks for a great breakfast treat, Dancer!

  2. This is definately one of the better cooler/smoothie recipes using tofu. I first made this last month, and I had to find the exact same one again! It's so good! It also works well with a tiny bit of chocolate blended together with the whole thing. Thanks for sharing! :)

  3. This was my first experience with tofu, and I was somewhat skeptical. But, wow, it was wonderful! I halved the recipe amounts, and it made one large smoothie. I would definitely recommend others to try this. It's a keeper!

  4. Yummy healthy treat! Thinner than a smoothie, and you'd never suspect this contained tofu. Fresh squeezed OJ would give the best flavor. I had to settle for refrigerated and added a touch more honey to compensate. Thanks, Dancer, for a delicious treat!

  5. I've have not been able to find any kind of recipe that contains soy milk or tofu that I like. My family is very very picky, but WE all love this drink. I made it without orange zest & vanilla. Instead I used very very vanilla silk brand soy milk. THANK YOU FOR THIS RECIPE, THIS IS MY FIRST STEP TO EATING HEALTHIER.
