Directions

  1. Place orange and cucumber slices around the bottom sides of a straight-sided glass salad bowl.
  2. If you have any remaining orange and cucumber, cut the slices in half.
  3. Put these in another bowl.
  4. Add lettuce and onion.
  5. Now take a jar with a tight-fitting lid.
  6. Combine the orange juice, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper and oil in it.
  7. Shake it really well.
  8. Pour over the lettuce mixture and toss gently to coat.
  9. Spoon into salad bowl with care.
  10. Sprinkle with croutons.
  11. Sit back and enjoy a serving of this immediately.
