  • 2 (170.09 g) package orange Jell-O
  • 311.84 g can mandarin oranges, drained (save juice)
  • 473.18 ml boiling water (use the juice from the oranges and water mixed)
  • 473.19 ml Orange sherbet

directions

  • Dissolve the Jello in hot liquid. Immediately add orange sherbet and stir until melted. (A wire whisk works well.)
  • When the Jello mix begins to thicken, add mandarin oranges. Chill until firm. You may freeze this then thaw in refrigerator.

  1. Thank you so much for posting this....I have always loved this recipe and I didn't have my jello cookbook with me. I have never frozen it though.....I don't think it ever lasted long enough...LOL

I love to do Counted Cross Stitch, Knit, flower gardening, cooking and spending lots of time with my grandchildren. Hence the name Nana in the woods. I live in Northern Mn and the grandkids call me NaNa. The picture is of the deer that come to visit us on a daily basis due to the fact we feed them in the winter months. Oh yah I forgot to mention I'm also an animal lover. I'm married have 1 child and 2 stepchildren and the best part is I have 3 grandchildren.
