Orange Spice Yeast Bread (Bread Machine)

"I can't wait to try this very different yeast bread recipe that I found on the internet. Can't go wrong with the flavors of orange zest and spices together. Cook time is according to your bread machine."

  1. I made this bread and it is awsome!!! I used bottled orange zest as my children can't eat ornages. Lemon zest can be used to. It was a very nice slicing bread and toasted incredible. I even used it for sandwich bread (tuna) and it was wonderful. It wasn't sweet or spicy it was just right. This is a keeper that I will make over and over again just for the quality of the bread. Thank you for sharing!!! :-)

  2. If I could give this ten starts, I totally would. This bread is wonderful! The only thing I changed was to sub 1 1/2 cups of wheat flour. I let my bread machine knead the dough and then baked it in my oven. The texture is perfect, the taste is lightly flavoured and I'm sure that it will make amazing french toast tomorrow morning if it lasts that long! Thanks, Marie - this is a keeper!

  3. I made this recipe but did it all by hand. I have no bread machine. It took all day to rise in the oven with light on. It rose really slow but it did rise. It smelled nice baking but the taste is not to great. I won't be making it again sorry.

  4. I actually made this wonderful bread on my Kitchen Aid stand mixer, I only used one egg, used water and milk and adjusted all other ingredients, I baked it in a 8 x 4-inch bread loaf pan, really great bread Marie!..thanks Kitten:)

  5. After reading the recipe I was expecting something closer in taste to spice cake:) This bread is very mild in flavor and the spices do not overwhelm the bread. We enjoyed it. I will make it again.
