  1. I just got my bread machine a couple weeks ago and this was one of the first loaves I made. The family loved it. It wasn't a real sweet bread, just a hint of chocolate. Like Leeannr, I too put a cup of cookies in it. It was great.

  2. Love this! It makes great toast too. Very easy to make. I did have to add about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of extra flour during the first kneading, the dough was too wet. And I added 1 cup of Oreo's-can't have too much of a good thing, can you? But it all worked out fine. The bread is delicious, not overly sweet. My kids love it, but of course, they won't eat the crust, lol. Thanks KM!

  3. Awful! Absolutely awful! Oreos OR bread. Pick ONE. Definitely NOT recommended to be combined together.

  4. I also put a cup of cookies in it. For myself.. the dough was too watery when kneding.. So I had to add about one more cup of flour.. it was still a bit watery. It ended up with.. 1/4 of the bread being raw. It wasn't a total waste though. I cut out the raw part and we're eating the edable parts. It's pretty good. Maybe I didn't put it in the correct cycle.. but for a 1lb loaf, I'd think that was Small.. I baked it on Medium. My bread machine has Medium, Large, and XL for the loaf. I'll try again with Large and see how it goes. Will give a real rating once I've done that.

  5. Sorry but my family wasn't that impressed with it. You really couldn't taste the oreo cookies in the bread at all. Also I had to search my bread machine cookbook to find similar recipes to figure out what cycle to do this bread.
