  1. Geema, I just love this dressing! I don't use all sesame oil, maybe 1/3 sesame and 2/3 olive or corn oil. It's my new favorite dressing! Thanks for posting this one!

  2. Really yummy! I made two versions of this recipe, one with the honey and one without. The honey-ed version was served over peanut/sesame noodles and was a huge hit. I used the batch without the honey over some shredded chicken and greens, and I was just so pleased with myself! I also used some of the dressing the saute green beans, it gave them a great taste! This recipe is a little expensive to make, because of the sesame oil, but a little goes a long way, and is worth every penny! Thanks Geema, there's always going to be a bottle of this stuff in my fride.

  3. Oh my lord, you are my DH's new hero! He gives this 5++ stars, an I have to agree, it was pretty good. I increased the honey a tiny tiny bit and left out the five spice powder (didn't have any) and it was still yummy and tangy. I watched DH inhale nearly a whole huge bowl of salad, which he never does, so thanks for that! This will definitely be a new staple around here. We put it on basic iceburg salad (lettuce, carrots, cabbage) sprinked with rice noodles and dired cranberries and it was excellent, quick and simple.

  4. Sorry, Geema but we weren't too happy with this. We found that there was too much oil for our tastes, which made the salad taste kind of greasy. The five-spice gave it a grainy texture and while we love five-spice, we didn't really like the flavor. It was edible, but I think what is left in the fridge is destined to go down the sink.

  5. Very good! I didn't have quite enough sesame oil, so I substituted veg oil, but added about a tsp of sesame seeds. Added a visual touch and maybe a little extra flavor.
