  • Brown ground beef in a skillet.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and spray a casserole (glass baking dish) with nonstick spray.
  • Mix veggies, cream soup, and meat in casserole.
  • Top with tater tots.
  • Bake for 1 hour.
  • Enjoy!

  1. Ya sure....this is truly one of the best comfort foods here in Minnesota! I usually add 1/2 chopped onion while browning the meat. I have also used the Veg-All vegetables, and if I have shredded cheddar in the house, that goes on top of the tater tots the last 5-10 minutes. You really can't mess this recipe up! Oh, I do add 1/3 can of milk or water to the soup mix. Yum!
     
  2. Excellent dish. I topped it with some shredded cheddar cheese five minutes before removing it fromthe oven and that was delcious too.
     
  3. It is a very versatile recipe. One of my roommates who is Native American from Montana made this by using canned Veg-All. Since I prefer my vegetables either fresh or frozen, I use two cups of frozen mixed vegetables Normany style from Costco for this recipe.. We even tried it with chicken. It works very well!

I am not much of a cook, but I love to eat! I have entered one cooking competition ever in my life. It was for hotdish. And I won! If you don't know what hotdish is...you should spend some time in Minnesota!
