  1. Broil oysters in 9 x 9 inch pan to remove excess liquid (only about a minute); drain.
  2. Meanwhile saute butter with garlic.
  3. Add chopped spinach and saute until wilted.
  4. Add anisette and set aside.
  5. Spoon spinach mixture over oysters (either in the 9x9 inch pan or on individual oyster shells).
  6. Mix the spring onions, egg, mayonnaise, Tabasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Romano cheese, and dry mustard; spoon over spinach mixture.
  7. Return to broiler and cook until browned on top .
